FOUNDERS
Rev. Clement Bonsu is the senior Pastor of Temple Of Praise Ministry (TOP Ministry).
The ministry was co-founded by Rev. Bonsu and Rev. Monica Bonsu.
CONVERSION
Rev. Bonsu accepted Jesus as his Lord and saviour at the age of 16. Since then he has followed footsteps of his Lord Jesus Christ. As a young man he preached at the Assemblies of God Church at Denase, Apagya, Bronkong, Akrofrom and many other places in Ghana. Since than he has been preached in India, Europe, USA and almost around the globe.
MISSIONS
Rev. Bonsu worked with the African Evangelism of Ghana, a German based mission in Ghana from 1976 to 1980. In late 1980, he toured southern Germany to raise funds to support the work of the African Evangelism. In 1981 he became the Overseer for Christian Foreigners who reside in the Schleswig Holstein a state in the Federal Republic of Germany. He was later on employed many years by the Verband der Gemeinschaft in der Landeskirche" in Schleswig Holstein. Rev. Bonsu is the vice president of African Christian Council Hamburg. He is a member of planning the committee of Theological Training for African Pastors in Missions Academy University of Hamburg, Germany. He is also a member of the Planning Committee for African Christian Council Schleswig Holstein.
MINISTRY
Rev. Bonsu is in full time ministry with the Temple of Praise Ministry Hamburg-Germany. He works partially with the Ökumenische Arbeitsstelle für Migration und Flüchtlinge im Kirchenkreis Stormarn. He visits the Glassmoor prisons and holds Bible lessons with the prisoners.
EDUCATION
Rev. Bonsu studied conservation, restoration and preservation of cultural materials at UNESCO centre. He proceeded in Ecomusuelogy in France, he studied in the Bible College in South Germany. He also studied the German language in Diakonischen Werk Schleswig and Kiel University.
WHAT WE DO
We work under the motto:
Brethren if a brother or a sister is naked and destitute of daily food and one of you say to them; depart in peace be warmed and filled but you do not give them the things that are needed for the body what does it profit ?
Rev. Bonsu demonstrate faith with works: he gives telephone cards to the prisoners in Glassmoor and arranges for lawyers for them.
We preach the Word of God to the people
We pray with the people
We give counsel on marriage problems
We give counsel to parents and families
We accompany Africans to the authorities
We visits Africans in prisons and hospital
We arrange lawyers and doctors for those in need
Rev. Bonsu preaches powerful messages, Jesus has power over demons, Jesus has power over diseases and death.
Rev. Bonsu has ministered in revival crusades, has the God given ability to reach out to the individual with great compassion through offering them biblical and practical solution.
